Pyrosphere Sequencer with video tutorial

It’s finally arrived! The Pyrosphere Sequencer Program by Zeke! Zeke spent many a sleepless night working out this squencer like a total rockstar.

We want YOU! …to make a sweet ass fire sequence that we can use at Burning Man 2010! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to pump out as many amzing designs and chase sequences as possible in the next few weeks. We can fit up to 43 million frames in our control box, which hopefully will be enough… We’ll be going through everything that gets submitted and picking the best 1,000 or so to use on the playa. So get to work! It’s crazy fun making these things too…don’t stay up too late!

Here’s a video tutorial, and the link:

go to the link below, download and install the Unity player if you don’t already have it (takes 15 seconds) and have fun!

here’s a couple more things to be aware of guys:

if you hit the frame-forward button a bunch of times, it will copy whatever your last frame was that many times, which can either be helpful or a pain to erase.

sometimes your keystrokes will be recorded in the File Name box, so make sure you delete any [[ or ]] or whatever you might have typed in there before you save your filename.

you can right-click in the screen to open up the window to fullscreen, which is helpful if you have a small laptop monitor.

if you have an unfinished design, save it, and then when you load it up to work on it again, save it as the same name to keep the number of files down.

as of now, the list of file names has no ’scroll-down’ option that im aware of, so if you find one that you might want to use multiple times, write it down so it doesn’t get buried!!

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been posting at least 5 things an hour….catch up suckas!!

update on new additions (thanks zeke!)

Insert creates a new empty frame, cut removes the current frame and places it on the clipboard. Paste puts the item on the clipboard over the current frame.

If you wanted to move a frame you would cut frame a move to the new slot, hit insert then paste.

OK guys…I’ve done 104 sequencer patterns in the past 2 days…

how many have YOU all done?

    ready, go!
